Belamour Ballet Dance Academy is seeking a part-time to full-time dance & acrobatics instructor!!

Instructors at Belamour teach character development and leadership skills to youth and adults through classical dance technique. The ideal candidate will have strong skills and significant experience in teaching several dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, and acrobatics. Other experience includes choreographing and staging performances, creating lesson plans appropriate for different skill levels/ages, and facilitating a safe and positive classroom environment. Candidates must be comfortable with and enjoy teaching a wide range of ages and skill levels from very young children through adults.

Other qualifications include:

• The ability to set and remain accountable to personal goals

• To be coachable and eager to learn new skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills so you can be an effective mentor and coach as well as prepare clear student evaluations and communicate with parents as needed.

• Working as an effective team member staging studio productions, executing special events, and attending regular staff training and meetings.
   

As part of the interview process, candidates may be asked to provide examples of their past choreography or be invited to teach as a guest instructor.

Starting Rate Per Hour is $13.00-18.00 depending on experience.
 

Candidates should be available Monday-Friday afternoons/evenings and Some Saturday mornings.
